Executive Director of Organizational Engagement

The Executive Director of Organizational Engagement serves as a visible and collaborative campus leader, advancing the mission of the University through strategic partnerships, special projects and meaningful engagement of students, faculty, staff, alumni and external partners. A member of the University's Leadership Cabinet, this position advises the President on initiatives that strengthen institutional visibility, engagement and advancement priorities.  Generous benefits include health, retirement, considerable time off and access to multiple tuition programs for self and dependents.

Responsibilities:

  • Special Projects: Advancement and President’s Office; lead special projects and operational requests from the President’s Office; partner with colleagues in Advancement to support fundraising strategies and initiatives; play a key role in supporting the Capital Campaign through strategic engagement, outreach and visibility efforts; serve as the Special Project Advancement liaison to Athletics and Admissions.

  • Strategic Leadership and Engagement; provide leadership for Advancement-related special projects, ensuring alignment with University goals and mission; lead initiatives that strengthen organizational engagement across campus, ensuring meaningful connections between Advancement and internal/external constituencies; support student, faculty and staff engagement by fostering a culture of mentorship, collaboration and recognition; act as a highly visible representative of Advancement at University and community events. 

  • Mentorship and Organizational Development; mentor students, faculty and staff, fostering personal and professional growth that aligns with the University's values and goals; support University student and employee retention efforts; other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree required
  • Minimum of five years’ related experience

$96k-$105k, and based on experience

This is a full-time, on-campus position. Monday through Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm. Occasional nights, weekends, and travel required.

The final candidate will pass a pre-employment background investigation.
