Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance
The Department of Accounting and Finance at Illinois Wesleyan University invites applications
for two visiting positions in Accounting. Employment will begin August 2020. We
seek experienced, dynamic, and caring academic professionals with evidence of teaching
excellence who are dedicated to undergraduate education in a liberal arts environment.
Each position requires a minimum of an M.S. in Accounting or an M.B.A. Professional
certification (CPA or similar), and relevant professional work experience in the field
of accounting is also required.

The successful candidates will be able to teach a variety of undergraduate accounting
courses at all levels (financial accounting, cost accounting, auditing, and accounting
systems) in a liberal arts environment. Currently, our greatest need is for someone
to teach Accounting 315, Tax Accounting. The standard teaching load is six courses
