Withdrawal Policies

Policy on Withdrawal from the University

A student who is considering withdrawal from the University should discuss plans with the Dean of Students and the academic advisor. Notification of intent to withdraw will be considered official only after the student has completed an Application for Permission to Leave the University and returned it to the Dean of Students. A grade of W may be assigned if the withdrawal occurs prior to the final drop date for the semester.
