Alumni Diversity

Diversity and Inclusion is intrinsic to the mission of Illinois Wesleyan University.

Here at IWU, we appreciate diversity in all its many facets and strive to develop the most enriching, progressive, vibrant, and welcoming community possible. In fulfilling this purpose, we infuse aspects of culture, identity, inclusion, and engagement into all facets of the IWU experience from the curricular to the co-curricular.

The Illinois Wesleyan experience affords the greatest possibilities for realizing individual potential while preparing students to be active change-makers in a global society. Through our policies, programs , and practices, we are committed to diversity, social justice, and environmental sustainability as we support our students, faculty, and staff regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, ability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
