The Multicultural Center
Visit the MC House
The Multicultural Center, nicknamed the "MC House", is open to students, faculty,
and staff throughout the school year to utilize for study, meeting, or hangout space.
There are two floors of meeting and lounge spaces, a functional kitchen with basic
kitchenware, and a large backyard for recreation. It is located at 1405 Park Street,
behind Holmes Hall and adjacent to Hansen Student Center.
Request the Space
If you are interested in requesting to reserve the MC House for a group meeting, event,
or program, please complete the MC House Request Form. Reservations can be for one time events or recurring meetings. The Office of Diversity
and Inclusion will email you with a confirmation email within 48 hours if we are able
to accommodate your request. You may view our calendar to see if the space is available on our website.
Become a Volunteer
The MC House is staffed by our student volunteers and we recruit for new volunteers at the end of each semester. Volunteers are asked
to serve a minimum of one hour a week and the schedule is adjusted based on availability
each semester. Our volunteers staff and maintain the space as well as assist with
guests and programs as needed. For more questions about volunteering, please email
