Afternoon Tea

The Chaplain's Office will host a special afternoon tea for seniors and others who are still on campus for Commencement weekend on Thursday, April 30, at 4 p.m. downstairs in Evelyn Chapel. Commissioning Ceremony for Army ROTC Cadets

Seniors Victoria Salas, Jacob DeNap and Tamara Johnson will host their commissioning ceremony into the United States Army on Friday, May 1, at 3 p.m. in the Hansen Student Center. Reception for Senior Class Donors

Seniors who donated to the senior class gift are invited to a reception on the patio at the President's House on Friday, May 1, from 5-6 p.m. In case of rain, the reception will be in the Center for Natural Science atrium. For more information, contact Jeff Mavros at jmavros@iwu.edu.


CCIW Softball Tournament

Illinois Wesleyan will host the 2009 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Softball Tournament, with games at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, May 1 and continuing Saturday, May 2 at the IWU Softball Field.

Illinois Wesleyan is the No. 1 seed and will play at 2 p.m. For more information, visit www.iwusports.com.

IWU Baseball vs. Augustana

The Titan baseball team will face Augustana College on Friday, May 1, at 6 p.m. at Illinois Wesleyan's Horenberger Field. For more information, visit www.iwusports.com.

CCIW Softball Tournament

Illinois Wesleyan will host the 2009 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Softball Tournament, with games on Friday, May 1 and continuing at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and potentially 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 at the IWU Softball Field. For more information, visit www.iwusports.com.


International Student Reception

International students and their families are invited to an informal reception on Saturday, May 2, at 1:30 p.m. in the Davidson Room, Memorial Center. Phi Beta Kappa Induction Ceremony

The Phi Beta Kappa honor society will induct new members Saturday, May 2, at 4 p.m. in Young Main Lounge, Memorial Center.  Roger Schnaitter, associate provost for academic planning and standards, will deliver formal remarks. The ceremony will be followed by a traditional ice cream punch reception.


Commencement Mass

Senior Gala

Commencement Worship Service

Join us for a special worship service on Sunday, May 3, at 10 a.m. in Evelyn Chapel in honor of our graduating seniors.

This community worship service will incorporate students, staff and faculty members.  With honored speakers, we will joyfully hear words of encouragement and challenge as we commence into a new part of life.  Surrounded by amazing music, wonderful readings and thoughtful prayers, you and your family will want to arrive early to get a seat.
