Kenny Woodard '10
Kenny graduated from Illinois Wesleyan in 2010 as a Political Science major. He transferred into the university as a sophomore, securing four internships in his two years at IWU. He interned at State Farm Insurance, Habitat for Humanity, Unity Community Center and the Urban League of McLean County. He served as president of the Summer Enrichment Program under the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs in the summer of 2008. In 2009, he traveled and spoke for the Illinois Wesleyan Advancement Office as it kicked off the Transforming Lives Campaign. During his years at Illinois Wesleyan, Kenny stayed active at his church and in the community, especially working toward the revitalization of the west side of Bloomington. In 2010, he was awarded the Elizabeth Weir Fellowship in conjunction with the Action Research Center for excellence in volunteering in the community. Kenny also worked as a Resident Assistant for the Office of Residential Life.
Kenny is married to his college sweetheart Gloria, an Illinois Wesleyan alumna who majored in French and International Studies. Their baby daughter was born in November.
