The International Film Series (IFS)

Thursdays @ 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated

Beckman Auditorium, The Ames Library

All films are shown in their original language with English subtitles, unless listed otherwise.
Films are closely tied to courses or academic programs. Faculty members present a short introduction to each film, and there are often group discussions after films.

The IWU intellectual theme for 2022-2024 is "The Power of Place." Many of the films shown in IFS explore how the powers at play in specific geographical locations around the world shape the lives of the people who inhabit these spaces.
