Alumni Library Privileges
Library services should first be sought from your community’s public library.
Please ask for assistance at the Information Services Desk regarding the following services:
- Access to library collection for research and browsing
- Online catalog searching
- Government Document Collection
Access to electronic resources (excluding online catalog) are not available without IWU affiliations
Borrowing Privileges
Alumni of IWU may request an IWU library courtesy card. They would need to provide proof of graduation from the institution. ID cards or letters from the Alumni office would be acceptable forms of identification.
Card renewals will be granted, if individual requests the renewal personally and is in good standing at The Ames Library.
Interlibrary loan privileges are only available to current IWU students, faculty, and staff. Alumni should seek interlibrary loan services from their public library.
