David Wallace earned his M.B.A. from Gonzaga University, and his Ph.D. from Washington State University. David started his academic career at Illinois State University, where he taught principles of marketing, purchasing management, strategic marketing management, and marketing research. His research interests generally concern inter-firm relations, particularly issues relating to channels of distribution. His work has been published in the proceedings of the American Marketing Association, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Service Research, and Decision Sciences. In his early career, David was a head buyer in the sporting goods industry.
