Six New Members Join IWU Board of Trustees

Six new members have been elected to join Illinois Wesleyan University's Board of Trustees in 2025 — Desiree M. Quizon-Colquitt '89, Lucy N. Wisdom '95, Christopher M. Bisaillon '93, Robin L. Favor '00, Sam Porritt '84 and Mandy Watson '01.

Princeton Review Recognizes Illinois Wesleyan Among Nation’s Best Colleges

Illinois Wesleyan University is one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduates to earn their college degree, according to The Princeton Review’s 2026 college guide, The Best 391 Colleges.

The Pantagraph

The Prairie Fire Theatre is bringing "The Baker's Wife" to IWU for five shows this week, produced by Robert Mangialardi, emeritus assistant professor of voice and former director of the Opera Theatre program. The musical was written by Joseph Stein, the playwright for "Fiddler on the Roof," with music by Stephen Schwartz, composer and lyricist for "Wicked." Also reported by WGLT Radio.

International student enrollment at Bloomington-Normal colleges, including Illinois Wesleyan, is down for the 2025-26 school year, following a national trend.

Free Malaysia Today

Vincent Daniel '57, of Malaysia, studied music at IWU. He was recently recognized by his childhood school, the Anglo-Chinese School in Ipoh, for writing a commemoration tune in 1947 that eventually became the official school song.
