Director of Government and Community Relations Carl Tiechman '80 will take on a new role at the Bloomington-Normal Economic Development Council as business retention manager.

The Illinois Wesleyan Class of 2023 was celebrated on Sunday, May 7, at commencement, where a graduate remarked, "The community here is just unmatchable."

Kwabena Appenteng '04 was named office managing shareholder for Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management.

Professor of Hispanic Studies Carmela Ferradáns' translation of the short story Al-Jazeera was selected as runner up for best translation in the literary magazine Hunger Mountain.

In Deepest Sympathy

Dennis Groh '61, who served as University Chaplain and Professor of Humanities and Archaeology from 1996-2007, passed away on April 22, 2023. His obituary may be viewed here.
