Private Guitar and String Lessons Offered at IWU

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— The String Preparatory Department at Illinois Wesleyan University is currently enrolling students for private lessons on guitar, violin, viola, cello and bass, as well as group guitar classes. Fall semester lessons will begin on Monday, Aug. 26.

The IWU String Prep Program offers weekly private lessons to students of all ages, chamber music, music theory classes and regular recitals. Students have the options of 30-, 45-, or 60-minute private lessons, which are given weekly at IWU’s Presser Hall (210 N. Park St., Bloomington). All teachers have significant teaching experience and have degrees in performance and/or music education. Registration information is available at www.iwu.edu/music/k12/prep.html.
