Celebrate 175 Years of Titan Pride at Homecoming and Family Weekend

The Illinois Wesleyan community is set to celebrate 175 years of Titan stories during the 2025 Homecoming and Family Weekend on Oct. 10-12. From the 1850 Market and a movie night on the Eckley Quadrangle to musical performances and a pop-up history museum in the Memorial Center, the multi-day celebration will unite Titans of all ages.

Nearly 1,100 people came out to Illinois Wesleyan University in support of kids receiving treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, raising more than $350,000.

Encounter campus ministry at Illinois State University, which also serves students from IWU, is making upgrades to the building at 210 W. Mulberry St., which will include a new coffee shop.

Senior biology major Elliot Notrica has established a laboratory in Bloomington for his company Symbio Bioculinary, which offers consulting services to food companies on how to use genetically engineered microbes to make upcycled ingredients from food waste.
