Carlock '26, Navarro '26 Receive Beckman Scholarships to Complete Biology Research 

A pair of Illinois Wesleyan University students, Peyton Carlock '26 and Jessica Navarro '26, have been selected to receive funding to complete long-term research through the Beckman Scholars Program.

Argus Earns General Excellence, Individual Awards from Illinois College Press Association

Illinois Wesleyan University’s student newspaper, The Argus, was awarded first place in general excellence for print editions at schools under 3,000 in enrollment, along with 10 individual awards for Titan staff during the annual Illinois College Press Association (ICPA) awards ceremony in Chicago last month.

Retired nursing faculty member at Illinois Wesleyan Dr. Carolyn Jarvis, a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago, made a gift to her alma mater to renovate the UIC College of Nursing auditorium. The updated space will be renamed the Carolyn Jarvis Auditorium.
