IWU Introduces Direct Admission for Local High School Students

As a commitment to our shared Bloomington-Normal community, Illinois Wesleyan University is launching a new initiative offering direct admission to all eligible students at five area high schools.

Enrollment numbers at IWU are the second highest in a decade, thanks in part to a pilot program for the direct admission initiative for local high school students.

David “Saga Dave” Nicholson, former general manager of Sodexo Residential Dining at IWU, passed away on Sept. 6, 2024. A visitation will take place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, followed by a 10:30 a.m. celebration of life, at Friendship MB Church in Saint Louis, Missouri.
