10:30-1 p.m., Eckley Quadrangle – Faculty and Staff Opening Event – Faculty and staff are invited to kick off the 2021-22 academic year by gathering in person! We will meet in front of State Farm Hall for a University update, recognition of new faculty and staff, and announcement of the Max L. Starkey Award winner. We will then move to the area near Joslin Atrium for a picnic lunch and fellowship on the Quad.
4 p.m., Entry level, The Ames Library – Faculty Scholarship & Creative Arts Celebration – This event will showcase our faculty's rich scholarly, artistic and creative productivity, hosted by The Ames Library.

Jacob Taitel ’18 earned a silver medal in the tuba artist competition at the Leonard Falcone International Euphonium and Tuba Festival, held virtually Aug. 7-8.
Taitel is Adjunct Instructor of Tuba and Euphonium at IWU this semester, and a Graduate Student Instructor for the Musicology Department at the University of Michigan.

Please bring your insurance card to your appointment. Vaccines will be administered by Jewel Osco.
