Congratulations to Sarah Hastings, who has been named manager of the IWU bookstore.
Hastings is from Frankfort, Illinois, and has lived in Normal since 2016. She is a two-time graduate from Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in marketing and another in English studies with a minor in sociology. She has also played the flute in ISU's pep band, concert band, and the Big Red Marching Machine (including a performance in Ireland.)
She started her career with Follett in 2017 at ISU's bookstore, The Alamo II, as a student employee and later as a team lead. Last summer she accepted the role as assistant store manager at Illinois Wesleyan University and remains there today as the store manager.
