10 a.m. - 2 p.m. – Virtual Career Fair Prep Office Hours – Students are invited to visit the Hart Career Center in person or virtually to get extra last-minute help to feel prepared for success at the upcoming Virtual Career Fair. 4-7 p.m., Virtual – Virtual Career/Internship Fair – Hart Career Center's annual Fall Career Fair will be held virtually in Handshake, our career services platform. A Virtual Fair is different than a traditional in-person fair because there is no waiting in lines – instead, you plan your day in advance. Log in to Handshake, register for the fair, and sign up for group video sessions and 1:1 meetings with companies looking to hire here: iwu.joinhandshake.com. The Virtual Internship/Job Fair connects quality candidates with employers and organizations recruiting for pre-professional, professional, and educational experiences including internships, volunteer experiences, graduate and professional school opportunities, as well as part-time and full-time jobs. IWU students of all majors and school years are welcome to attend this event.

7-8:30 p.m., Virtual - Registration Required – How to Communicate About the Environment in 2020: A Virtual Conversation with IWU Alumni – This dynamic virtual panel features four IWU alumnae – Katie Coleman '04, Anna (Groves) Funk '11, Leslie Morrison '08, and Amanda Solliday '06 – who are working at the intersection of environmentalism and communications, from journalism to advocacy to academia. The panel will discuss the role of communications in science, how environmental organizations are facing up to racial inequities, and how to get people to care about environmental issues during times of historic upheaval and uncertainty. 1-4:30 p.m., Virtual – Virtual Practice Interviews – Julie Krause '08, Senior Associate Director of University Events with the University of Chicago, will host virtual practice interviews. Krause has had an exciting career after IWU and she is ready to share her interviewing tips with students. Open to all majors and school years. 6 p.m., Zoom – Trivia Night – Kappa Delta is hosting a Virtual Trivia Night to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America and The Baby Fold. Cost of attendance is $5 per person or $20 for a team of 5. If you don't have a team, you can still come and we will assign you a team. Registration Form and Zoom Link.
6 p.m., Virtual – Free Money Game Show – It's FREE money! Join the Campus Activities Board for a game show night and a chance to win big. Link for the event will be sent out to the student body the day of the event.
