4 p.m., Evelyn Chapel – A New Year Gathering For Hope, Love, and Justice – The Offices of Multifaith Engagement and Diversity and Inclusion invite the campus community to a gathering led by students and staff to celebrate a new semester; lift up our personal hopes for the year; and firmly stand in solidarity with others near and far who are experiencing injustice, violence, and displacement due to political conflicts, hatred, and the effects of global climate change. Participants will be invited to contribute to a community wall of hopes and commitments which will be displayed in the Hansen Student Center in coming weeks, and to join a casual reception after the gathering, in the chapel basement at 4:30 p.m.
