Illinois Wesleyan student-athletes were honored for academic achievements:
- Lisa Cheng, Ellen Gilbert and Megan Wong are among swimmers and divers named to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-American Team for the 2018-19 season.
- The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) honored graduated seniors J.C Grabarek and Will Rossi of the IWU men's lacrosse team as USILA/Warrior and New Balance Scholar All-Americans.
- The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association has named the Illinois Wesleyan men's and women's swimming and diving teams to its Scholar All-America team for the Spring 2019 Semester.

Summer Camps on Campus |
|
|
|
Conference Services is welcoming the following overnight groups to campus this July:
Through July 27 — The Chamber Music Festival, coordinated by Instructor Lisa Nelson, will consist of about 20 students staying in Blackstock, using Presser Hall and dining in Bertholf Commons.
July 9-23 — Local Rotary Clubs will host an international youth retreat.
July 9-12 — A camp of around 500 youth wrestlers will be on campus staying in a majority of our residence halls and using the Shirk Center.
July 14-17 — Head Football Coach Norm Eash will host a large number of football teams from high schools in the state to prepare for college football.
July 14-19 — An adult banking group will be using spaces in CNS, State Farm Hall, and the Memorial Center for classes, followed by a graduation ceremony at the end of their stay.
July 17-19 — Coach Eash will host another round of football teams to work with him and his coaching staff.
July 21-27 — High school students interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement will be attending a police exploration camp and using the Memorial Center, CNS, residence halls, the Quad, and other outdoor spaces for their simulations.
July 27-31 — Youth basketball players will be on campus for a skills camp, using the Shirk Center and enjoying meals in the Commons.

Nicole Starcevich started July 1 as the Administrative Specialist II in the Career Center. She replaces Jennifer Jordan, who transferred to the Administrative Specialist II - Office of Student Involvement position, replacing Terri Knapp, who transferred to the Administrative Specialist II - Office of Residential Life position following Sandi Myers' retirement. |
