Ondra Healthcare Policy Expert to Speak at Commencement
Dr. Stephen L. Ondra '80, a former military surgeon and leading healthcare policy expert, will deliver Illinois Wesleyan's Commencement address as the University celebrates graduates in the Class of 2019 on Sunday, May 5.

  • The Illinois Wesleyan softball team clinched its 16th College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) softball title in program history by winning games over Carroll on Sunday, April 28, at IWU Softball Field.

  • With a Seniors' Day win over the University of Dubuque at Tucci Stadium on Saturday, April 27, the women's lacrosse team has now won two CCIW regular season titles in the five-year history of the program.

  • The men's lacrosse team secured the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin regular season title with a win over Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Saturday, April 27 – the team's third-straight CCIW title.

Front St., Bloomington – Lavender Graduation – Lavender Graduation is a celebration that recognizes graduating LGBQA TGNC students' contributions to IWU and the queer community. It serves as a chance to gather around good food and to recognize spring, winter and summer graduates as well as the significant people in their lives who have helped them achieve their goals. There is no cost to attendees. Prior registration was requested; contact Hannah at hmesouan@iwu.edu with any questions.

Charles and Joyce Eichhorn Ames Professor of Physics Gabe Spalding traveled to Washington, D.C., to spend the day on April 26 talking to congressional representatives and senators about STEM Education, with a team from the American Association of Physics Teachers and the American Institute of Physics. Spalding is currently in his first year of a four-year term as Director-At-Large of the American Association of Physics Teachers.

Reminder - 2018 Flexible Spending Submission Deadline

If you have a remaining balance in your 2018 Flexible Spending account, please remember the following deadline:


Tomorrow (Tuesday, April 30) - Deadline for BPC to receive your requests for reimbursement


You can check your balance by contacting BPC at 1-800-355-2350 or by logging on to your account at www.bpcinc.com.

 

All Flex requests for reimbursement should be submitted to BPC. Submissions can be made by mail, online through the BPC website or by using the BPC phone app. If you need a reimbursement form, an electronic form can be found on the BPC website and hard copies are available in the Human Resources Office.
