7 p.m., Young Main Lounge, Memorial Center – Jae Nichelle – The Campus Activities Board and Women of Color RSO will kick off Women of Color week with a performance by spoken word poet Jae Nichelle.
Tuesday, March 5
12 p.m. at Young Main Lounge, Memorial Center and 4 p.m. at C101, CNS – Campus Update – Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend an important budget update meeting. The same information will be provided at both meetings. Supervisors are asked to grant flexibility for employee lunch hours for those who plan to attend the noon session, and tables will be set up for any who wish to bring their lunch.

11 a.m., Evelyn Chapel – Ash Wednesday: An Ecumenical Service – All are welcome for Evelyn Chapel's annual Ecumenical Ash Wednesday service, led by Chaplain Elyse Nelson Winger and Fr. Doug Hennessy, as well as students from Titan Catholic and the Multifaith Ambassador Team.

4 p.m., Basement, Evelyn Chapel – ReligiosiTEA: IWU's Weekly Interfaith Dialogue - Pizza and a Movie! – The campus community is invited to a screening and discussion of a 55-minute documentary entitled "Backs Against the Wall: The Howard Thurman Story." Thurman was a Christian mystic, interfaith pioneer, and civil rights leader and mentor to many. Pizza will be served.
6 p.m., Davidson Room, Memorial Center – 3D: Women of Color – The Women of Color RSO will lead a discussion on current challenges and social justice issues faced by women of color in America today. Sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion as part of the Diversity, Dialogue, and Dignity (3D) Series.
6-8:30 p.m., C101, CNS – NWS Skywarn Storm Spotter Training – NWS encourages anyone with an interest in public service to join the SKYWARN® program. Volunteers include police and fire personnel, dispatchers, EMS workers, public utility workers and other concerned private citizens. Individuals affiliated with hospitals, schools, churches and nursing homes or who have a responsibility for protecting others are also encouraged to become a spotter.
