6 p.m., Beckman Auditorium, The Ames Library – 3D Film: "The Hate U Give" – Visiting Assistant Professor Sarah Lindenbaum will present and lead a discussion on police brutality in America after the film, which tells the story of Starr: After witnessing the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend at the hands of a police officer, and while facing pressure from all sides of the community, Starr must find her voice and stand up for what's right. Sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

4 p.m., Basement, Evelyn Chapel – ReligiosiTEA: Forgiveness and Reconciliation – Adna Mujovic ’21 will lead a discussion focused around short clips from the documentary, Waking in Oak Creek, exploring the concept of forgiveness and reconciliation in our daily lives. The documentary is about a fatal, hateful shooting suffered by the Sikh community in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, in 2012. The community's response was not one of vengeance or anger, but of increased compassion, concern, and support.
