12 p.m., Davidson Room, Memorial Center – Info Session: Human Rights, Social Justice and Environmental Sustainability and Weir Fellowship Summer Internships – Students are invited to come and learn about how your passions for human rights, social justice, environmental sustainability and/or action research could translate into a paid summer internship for 2018. This informational session will introduce students to two sources of funding (see below), detail students' experiences from 2017, provide examples of qualifying internships, and include detailed information about the application process. Sponsored by the Center for Human Rights and Social Justice, Action Research Center and Environmental Studies.
- Thanks to the generous support of IWU alumni from the class of 1970, the Fund for Human Rights, Environmental Sustainability, and Social Justice will offer up to $5,000 in individual stipends to qualified students who complete human rights, environmental sustainability, and social justice internships.
- Through the leadership and generosity of Elizabeth Weir, the Action Research Center is proud to offer an annual action research fellowship. Weir Fellows work on projects that have been thoughtfully developed using action research strategies. The Weir Fellowship is valued at up to $1,200.

World Hijab Day – A Day of Solidarity With and Learning From Muslim Women – Co-sponsored by the Muslim Student Association, Jewish Student Association, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and IWU Interfaith:

7 p.m., Beckman Auditorium, The Ames Library – Film: 14 Kilometers – This 2007 Spanish drama follows the lives of three Africans who attempt to immigrate to Spain to pursue better lives. Sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion as part of the Diversity, Dialogue, and Dignity (3D) Series.
