School of Theatre Arts

Casey Erin Clark was born in Bethalto, IL outside St. Louis, MO and graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University’s School of Theatre Arts in 2004 with a BFA in Music Theatre.  She is a proud member of Actor’s Equity and now lives with her husband Chris in NYC, where she starred in Shout! the mod musical (Red Girl) and Frankenstein (Agatha, Elizabeth u/s, original cast recording) both Off-Broadway, the 2008 New York Musical Festival hit The Hatpin (Marianne), as well as many recordings and workshops of new musicals, including Friends Like These (Dana Reynolds) and Big Tent (Choir), concerts like the “Broadway Loves the 80’s” series at Joe’s Pub, and “Her Song”, the acclaimed revue of female songwriters and lyricists at Birdland Jazz Club.  She has also enjoyed many varied experiences at regional theaters around the country including Flat Rock Playhouse, North Carolina Theatre, The Lost Colony, Cumberland County Playhouse and most recently starring as Jo March in Little Women   for Stages St. Louis (2008 Kevin Klein Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical).  Ms Clark’s many credits include:  City of Angels (Donna/Oolie), Jekyll and Hyde (Emma Carew), Metamorphoses (Alcyone and others), CATS (Grizabella u/s), Joseph…Dreamcoat (Narrator), Into the Woods (Cinderella) and Spitfire Grill (Percy).

Ms. Clark recently finished her debut solo CD, entitled the song begins… at PPI Recording Studios.  The CD features among others four new songs from her composer friends Ken Clifton, John McMahon and Jay Jeffries, Peter Rutherford and James Millar.  The CD can be purchased on iTunes or cdbaby.com.  While not pursing her stage career, Ms Clark has a vocal coaching and music prep business and volunteers with VocalEase, a group that performs for senior citizens in NYC.

Her IWU credits included As You Like It (Rosalind), Rags (Rebecca), 42nd Street (Dorothy Brock), Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon) and The Last Five Years (Cathy).
