Julie Kasa, B.M.E

Julie Kasa has studied piano since the age of 4. She attended Augustana College, receiving a degree in music education. She has taught all grade levels of music in the public school system, has directed and accompanied numerous musicals, and serves on the Lincoln Area Music Society Board. She has been the choir director at First Presbyterian Church since 1988. Currently, Julie is also the accompanist for Illinois Wesleyan University's School of Theatre Arts, Lincoln Community High School choirs, directs the Community Orchestra, and participates in Musical Theater throughout central Illinois. In her spare time she likes to do crossword puzzles, read, and play tennis. She and her husband Paul have three grown children, Michael, Rachel and Rebecca.
