Campus Activities Board (CAB)
Executive Board Members
CAB DirectorOne of my favorite things about IWU is the opportunity for a well rounded experience. I am involved in a variety of extracurriculars on campus such as the women's tennis team, chem club, Tri Beta biology honors society, math club, Pi Mu Epsilon math honors society, and CAB of course! I have also been a TA for the Math Department for the past three years and I am currently working on a research project in biology and mathematics. I really enjoy event planning, so naturally CAB has been a great fit for me. Students need a break from the stress of the week and I love being a part of something that can provide that for them. My favorite event was hosting comedian Adam Devine last year!
Chief of Operations
Marketing & Promotions ChairI love to see people come together and have a great time. I joined CAB as the Marketing and Promotions Chair to be the bridge between students and the IWU community. CAB strives to bring students from different backgrounds and disciplines together to offer a fun environment that is open minded and considerate of all people and issues outside of our everyday life.
Homegrown ChairI’m currently a sophomore psychology major and plan to attend graduate school for speech pathology. In addition to CAB, I am a Resident Assistant for upper division students, on the exec boards for TitanThon and Circle K International, and also play oboe in Wind Ensemble. I joined CAB because I wanted to get more involved with the programming of student events, meet new people, and cater to the needs and interests of students here at IWU. One of the things I love about IWU is the variety of different clubs and organizations and that there is something for everyone. The same goes for CAB- there are so many various opportunities to get involved with from marketing and budgeting to collaborating with other clubs on campus, which is part of the reason I’m so excited to be a part of CAB as it makes its debut at IWU!
Campus Outreach ChairI am a sophomore International Studies student minoring in Japanese. I am a part of the BSU executive board, SALSA, Muslim Student Association, and the Women of Color RSO. I joined CAB because campus wide collaboration, whether that be between RSOs or interdepartmental, is extremely important and creates an opportunity for more inclusive programming. I am incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to be part of an organization that is dedicated to coming up with creative programming for and by students and to be able to influence the IWU campus in a positive way!
