Mailing Services, located in the Publications, Printing, and Mailing Services building at 1316 N. Franklin Ave., functions as a small post office with all of the shipping services you would find at the United States Postal Service and Federal Express. In addition, Mailing Services prepares bulk mailings. Customers are welcome to mail letters and ship packages on a walk-in basis between the hours of 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-4:30 p.m. weekdays. We prefer that packages are wrapped and ready to mail when you arrive. Mailing Services will assist you with the most cost-effective and timely method of shipping your packages.
For Illinois Wesleyan students, mail sent to living units is delivered by the U.S. Postal Service. Please notify your family and friends to use your correct living unit address and not the generic IWU address. To protect the privacy and safety of your student, please do not address items using the student's room number.

Many of the services that the post office now offers have free tracking thru "Click ‘n Ship" that you’ll find at www.usps.com. Global Priority/Priority Mail/Express Mail all have flat rate envelopes that have the same price for shipping no matter how many pounds of material you fit into the envelope.

The Bulk Mailing capabilities in Mailing Services include the ability to sort and address up to 40,000 pieces of mail. Bulk Mail offers savings of as much as 50 percent over first class prices. Mailings of 200 identical pieces and above are eligible for automated bulk mailing rates. Automated first class is also available at a rate under the normal first class postage and requires a minimum of 500 identical pieces.
Bulk Mailings can be prepared from most database files. Addresses are either printed directly on the envelope or printed piece or labels are affixed to the mail.
