The Office of Orientation Services is responsible for coordinating several signature programs for first year and transfer students and their parents and guardians. We offer three primary programs at this time.

Our primary program is  Turning Titan: New Student Orientation  which is an exciting week where new IWU students get a chance to meet with their First Year Advisor, sign up for classes, become acquainted with campus, meet your Titan Orientation Leader and much more!

S.O.A.R. (Spring/Summer Orientation and Academic Registration) is the orientation program for incoming transfer students that takes place in either January or throughout the summer. During this event, students have a chance to get registered for classes, meet other students that are beginning mid-year and learn some valuable resources about their new university. This orientation is individualized to meet the specific needs of each transfer students.

Experience IWU: Parent Orientation   is a one-day program held in June for the parents/guardians of our entering students. Attendees have the opportunity to learn about how to support their student's upcoming transition to college, various departments on campus, and have a chance to meet other parents of new students.
