Internship Possibilities

Nia To help you discover internship options, our Hart Career Center has compiled internships paired with the student's major at Illinois Wesleyan.
One recent example is Netherland (Nia) Joiner '16, a track and field athlete for the Titans. Familiar with chiropractic treatments as a patient, she gained understanding of the business side of the practice through a summer internship.

Value of a Liberal Arts Education

Liberal arts graduates joined the ranks of tech companies at a faster clip in the past few years than their engineering and computer-science counterparts, according an analysis by LinkedIn, which concluded, "These results reveal that the philosophy behind liberal arts, which encourages diversity of skills and flexible critical thinking, transfers to the workplace in various forms."
