A project led by Environmental Studies major Ryan Reish '22 created a freeze-proof water cistern to provide irrigation for the Illinois Wesleyan Peace Garden's hoop greenhouse. 
Illinois Wesleyan will host Claudia Rankine, a New York Times best-selling author and co-founder of The Racial Imaginary Institute, for a campus discussion.

Through April 20, Merwin and Wakeley Galleries, Joyce Eichhorn Ames School of art – 35th Annual Student Art Exhibition – The BFA / BA Senior Art Exhibits and the Juried Student Art Exhibition will represent all aspects of the art program: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, graphic design, 3-D design, ceramics, sculpture and glass.


5:30 p.m., Hansen Student Center – Project LEAD Panel – Students are invited to join the Project LEAD registered student organization to meet local educators and learn more about inclusivity in classrooms, and how to approach it as a future educator.

6 p.m., Vinyard Room, Memorial Center – An Evening with Audrey Geyer and Viewing of "Warrior Lawyers: Defenders of Sacred Justice" A viewing of the documentary "Warrior Lawyers: Defenders of Sacred Justice," currently airing on PBS, will be followed by a Q&A session with filmmaker Audrey Geyer. Her documentary explores overarching and foundational Native American issues and reveals how traditional Indigenous values and cultures can be effective when confronting contemporary challenges.


6:30 p.m., Myers Welcome Center – Financial Literacy: Ben Miller '96 – Questions about how to manage student loan debt, renting vs. buying, investing for your future, planning early for retirement? IWU alumnus Ben Miller will cover these topics in an informative and entertaining presentation.
