Illinois Wesleyan is the best college in Illinois for getting a job after graduation and 10th best in the country, based on job placement ratings from the Institute of Education Sciences (a bipartisan government organization dedicated to finding scientific data related to education).
eSportsUniversity to Launch eSports
Illinois Wesleyan will launch a varsity eSports program -- competitive online video gaming -- beginning in the fall of 2018. To build excitement, IWU students will participate in the National Association of Collegiate eSports’ inaugural National Invitational with a campus viewing party this Wednesday, April 12.


Students Invited to Apply for New First-Year Humanities Program
Prospective students who have been accepted to Illinois Wesleyan are invited to apply to the new First-Year Humanities Fellows program, which will begin in fall 2017.

All InTitans Are "All In For Wesleyan"
Titans around the world rallied on social media and celebrated everything that makes Illinois Wesleyan special, as 2,369 donors raised $719,338 in a one-day giving challenge – giving back to move IWU forward.
AndyPhysics Student's Research Wins Top Honor
Physics major Zhenghao (Andy) Ding was one of only 17 undergraduates from across the country to receive an Outstanding Undergraduate Research Presentation Award from the American Physical Society at its annual gathering of over 10,000 physicists.
SealStudents Win Eckley Awards for Summer Research
Five students have been selected to receive stipends to spend the summer on campus conducting research or artistic activity under faculty mentorship, as fellowship winners in the Eckley Scholars and Artists Program.

  • The Illinois Wesleyan men's golf team took first place in the 21-team IWU Invitational at Normal's Ironwood Golf Course on Saturday, April 8, while the women's golf team finished in seventh place at the 15-team Washington U. Spring Invitational, held at the Golf Courses at Forest Park on Sunday, April 9.
