The College Tour is coming to IWU

Illinois Wesleyan will be featured in an upcoming episode of The College Tour, a new TV series streaming globally on multiple platforms. Filming is scheduled July 18-22, 2022 on campus.

We are searching for amazing students to star in our episode! This is your chance to submit a video to the show's producers. In under two minutes, please tell us about yourself while showcasing your personality! We want to know your story and what's great about your experience at IWU.

Greg Yess '82 Invests in Students through Gift of Bloomberg Finance Lab

A tool used by leading business, investment and finance professionals was unveiled at a dedication ceremony Thursday at Illinois Wesleyan University in the form of a Bloomberg Finance Laboratory.

Three New Academic Programs Added for 2022-23 

In an effort to continue preparing students for meaningful careers in diverse fields, Illinois Wesleyan University will offer three new academic programs in addition to more than 80 majors, minors and concentrations currently available.

Lehr Named Fulbright Scholar with Plans to Teach, Research in Peru

Robert Harrington Professor of Biology Edgar Lehr was named a 2022-23 Fulbright Scholar and will spend time teaching and conducting research in Lima, Peru, from March to June in 2023.

Survey Finds 97% of 2021 Grads Employed or Continuing Education

Nearly 97% of 2021 graduates were employed or enrolled in higher education programs within six months of graduating from Illinois Wesleyan University, according to the annual First Destination Survey from the Hart Career Center.

Warnecke Awarded Trillium Arts Residency

Lauren Warnecke, School of Theatre Arts recruitment coordinator and adjunct faculty member, was one of six artists from around the globe to be awarded a spring 2022 Trillium Arts residency.

Several Titans were named to the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District 7 At-Large team: Ellen Gilbert '22, a member of the women's swimming and diving team; Cassandra Jones '22, a member of the women's lacrosse team; Lexi Onsrud '24, a member of the women's golf team; Jimmy Morton '22, a member of the men's golf team; and Rick Smith 22, a member of the men's lacrosse team. The athletes will advance to the Academic All-America ballot next month.

Hannah Johnson '12 is the new executive director of Illinois Art Station in Normal, a nonprofit aiming to provide children, youth and families from all neighborhoods and backgrounds transformative learning through hands-on experiences in the visual arts.
