The Pantagraph

Illinois Wesleyan Assistant Professor of the School of Nursing Elaine Hardy shared her path to nursing and encouraged others to pursue the profession, in a profile that was part of a Pantagraph series highlighting nurses during National Nurses Week.

A Bloomington sculptor partnered with adjunct assistant professor and director of Merwin and Wakeley Galleries Carmen Lozar and her students to design an industrial figure that was added to a sculpture park at 410 S. Madison St. in Bloomington.

May Term Hours

The Shirk Center will open at 8 a.m. weekdays during May Term, instead of 6 a.m. as originally planned. The full schedule of updated hours for the Shirk Center are always available at May Term pool hours at Fort Natatorium are being negatively affected by a lack of certified lifeguards. As lifeguard coverage is secured and scheduled, hours will be posted at the pool and in the Announcements section in the portal.
