The Illinois Wesleyan University community has an opportunity to set another fundraising record at this year’s All In for Wesleyan on Tuesday, April 19.
Ram Mohan, the Wendell and Loretta Hess Professor of Chemistry, has been named the 2023 recipient of Illinois Wesleyan’s Kemp Foundation Award for Teaching Excellence, the University's top teaching honor. A reception is planned Thursday.
The Office of Student Involvement recognized several Illinois Wesleyan student leaders, organizations and advisors at the annual Do Well & Do Good Involvement Awards on April 4.
Leah Nillas and Mitzi Timan have been named 2022 recipients of the University's Leadership Award for Inclusive Excellence, recognizing faculty and staff members who have upheld the University’s values of advocacy, education and community building.
Titan Athletics
  • Seven Titans finished in the top 10 as the men's golf team won the Blueboy Invitational in Springfield on Saturday, wrapping up the team's final tournament of the regular season. The team will compete in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championship in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Friday-Saturday, April 29-30.

Through April 20, Merwin and Wakeley Galleries, Joyce Eichhorn Ames School of art – 35th Annual Student Art Exhibition – The 35th annual BFA / BA Senior Art Exhibits and the Juried Student Art Exhibition represents all aspects of the art program: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, graphic design, 3-D design, ceramics, sculpture and glass.

4 p.m., Lower Level, Evelyn Chapel – Interfaith Baccalaureate Service – An informal interfaith baccalaureate service will recognize seniors who have been involved in multicultural engagement work during their time at IWU. The hour will include readings, sharing, reflections from the seniors, presentation of interfaith stoles for commencement, and, of course, some good food and fellowship.

7 p.m., The Writing Center | Tutoring Services 105b, The Ames Library – Study "Write" Almost All Night – This workshop is a chance to get walk-in support on your papers and to brush up on your study skills while scoring some snacks. Take the time to meet with a tutor or use the WCTS as a convenient study space as you prepare for your finals. We'll have writing center tutors and student success tutors on hand to help you prep papers, prepare for tests, practice presentations, and more! 12:30 p.m., Corner of Park and Beecher Streets – Commemorative Tree Planting Honoring Laurine Brown – Laurine Brown, Instructional Professor of Health/Environmental Studies and Environmental Studies Coordinator, retired this year. In tribute to her 22 years of service toward making IWU a more sustainable campus, the Environmental Studies Department, School of Nursing and the GREENetwork will plant a commemorative tree in her honor. The campus community is invited to join us for the dedication. Pick Up Your Campus Mail Before April 29
Please remember to pick up your mail at the Titan Print & Mail Center before April 29. Email titanmail@iwu.edu or call (309) 556-3087 with any questions or if certain accommodations are needed. 
Hydration Stations on Campus
If you notice a Hydration Station on campus is not working properly, please submit a work order request to Physical Plant through Asset Essentials. Water lines in two stations recently froze and broke, causing damage. Your assistance in keeping an eye out for malfunctioning Hydration Stations is greatly appreciated.
Opt-In COVID Testing
Optional on-campus COVID-19 testing is open to students, faculty and staff. If you would like to participate, please sign up here. Testing is available Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Shirk Center. Unvaccinated students will test weekly automatically and do not need to sign up. Deadline for registration is 1 p.m. Monday before the testing date.
