11 a.m., Zoom and Hansen Student Center – Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Teach-In – Dr. Timothy E. Lewis, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, will speak on "Exposing the Truth of the American Lie: From MLK to CRT."

7 p.m., Hansen Student Center and Virtual – From IWU to Airline Start-up: The Journey of an Entrepreneur – Babawande Afolabi, IWU Class of 2010 alumnus, will share his career path from IWU to developing an airline start-up. Babawande Afolabi is the Founder and CEO of Green Africa, a value carrier based in Lagos, Nigeria that offers safe, reliable, and affordable air travel aimed to serve a broader group of customers. Optional on-campus COVID-19 testing is open to students, faculty and staff. If you would like to participate, please sign up here. Testing is available Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Shirk Center. Unvaccinated students will test weekly automatically and do not need to sign up. Deadline for registration is 1 p.m. Monday before the testing date. |
