Fall Open House – Prospective students and families are invited to visit and discover all that's possible at Illinois Wesleyan.
12-2 p.m., (Daily through Wednesday) Dugout, Memorial Center – Annual Equal Pay Bake Sale – Feminism: Equality Matters (F:EM) presents the Annual Equal Pay Bake Sale. Pay what you make compared to the white man's dollar and support Planned Parenthood and/or the YWCA.
5 p.m., Meditation Garden (behind Evelyn Chapel) – Sukkot Celebration – Come celebrate and learn about the Jewish festival of Sukkot, sponsored by IWU's Jewish Student Association. Pizza will be served.
7-7:45 p.m., Multifaith Meditation Room, Memorial Center – Self Care Meditation – Enjoy a relaxing time with stories, music, and meditation. Students from all spiritual, religious, and secular backgrounds are encouraged to join. The Multifaith Meditation Room, located up the stairs from Campus Safety and Young Main Lounge, is open any time for students seeking a quiet place to meditate, pray, or just relax in silence. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Also Wednesday), Davidson Room, Memorial Center – Flu Shot Clinic – Seasonal flu shots will be offered to students, faculty, staff, and dependents (age 18 and older).
4 p.m., Auditorium, Myers Welcome Center – IWU Freeman Asia Informational Session – Thanks to the generous support of the Freeman Foundation, IWU will be able to support all expenses for up to 40 students to do internships in Asia for up to two months in summer 2020. This opportunity is available to all students who are currently sophomores and juniors and who will return to the IWU campus for at least a semester following the internship. Come learn about internship opportunities in Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan or the Philippines, and listen to the experience of students who participated this past summer. Sponsored by the International Office and Hart Career Center.
