Swimming national champion Meg Stanley '17 has been elected to the Academic All-District 7 ® Division III Women's At-Large team and will be on the ballot for the Academic All-America® Team. Jillian Runyon '19 was elected to the Academic All-District 7 ® Division III softball team and will be on the ballot for the Academic All-America® Team. First-, second-, and third-team All-America honorees will be elected later this month. |

- Christopher Phillips '81 won the Tom Watson Brown Book Award from the Civil War Historians and the Watson-Brown Foundation for his book, The Rivers Ran Backward: The Civil War and the Remaking of the American Middle Border, which was published in 2016 by Oxford University Press.
