TAG DayTAG Day Celebrates Donor Support
Illinois Wesleyan students will share their gratitude for the generous donors who make their college experience possible during Thank a Giver (TAG) Day today, Feb. 10.

HannahMesouani to Direct Office of Diversity and Inclusion
Hannah Mesouani has been promoted to director of Illinois Wesleyan's Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI). She served as assistant director of ODI since May of 2017 and is also on the board of local and global nonprofit For a Better Tomorrow.

JohnnyStudents Present at MUSE Humanities Conference
Undergraduate students from colleges across Illinois – including Illinois Wesleyan – presented creative work and original research during the MUSE Undergraduate Humanities Conference at IWU.

Chair and Professor of Psychology Jason Themanson's article, "The Psychology of Walks and Singles," is one of five national finalists for the SABR Analytics Conference Research Awards in the Contemporary Baseball Analysis category.

  • Assistant Professor of Music Roger Garret, as principal clarinetist with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, will perform in the Concerto for Clarinet, Viola, and Orchestra Op. 88 by Max Bruch at the orchestra's Romance concert on Feb. 15.

  • Susie L. High, IWU Costume Shop Supervisor and Instructor of Costume Technology and Construction, received a Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Honorable Mention in the Theatrical Design Excellence category, Region 3 in Madison, Wisconsin, on Jan. 11. This recognition was received for her costume design of Sweat produced at Illinois State University in fall 2019. The production was Susie's final thesis piece in completion of her M.F.A. in Costume Design, and as runner-up for the national award her costume design placed as one of the top 16 designs recognized throughout the nation by KCACTF.
