Gardner '89 Awarded Second National Humanities Grant
Illinois Wesleyan alumnus Eric Gardner '89 was awarded a $60,000 National Endowment for the Humanities grant to support his year-long study in African American Literature – a fascination that began with his studies at IWU.

MLK Teach-In to explore "Dr. King: Who Was He Really?"
Sundiata Cha-Jua, Associate Professor of History and African American Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, will deliver the keynote address during Illinois Wesleyan's annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Teach-In on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
