Professor of English Kathleen O'Gorman worked along with a team of lawyers and interpreters interviewing migrant children in government custody to document the conditions of their detention.

esportsEsports Program Adds Four Teams for 2020-21

Illinois Wesleyan's nationally recognized esports program is adding four teams for the 2020-21 academic year: Hearthstone, Overwatch, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. The expansion will increase Illinois Wesleyan's esports program to six teams, including League of Legends and Fortnite.

In recent highlights, the Chicago Composers Orchestra will premiere a piece for soprano and full orchestra, written by composer Eric Malmquist '07, with Ariana Strahl '07 as the featured soloist, on Oct. 26. The Chicago Composers Orchestra was founded by Brian Baxter '07, now executive director of the Quad Cities Symphony, and is celebrating its 10th season.
