Ania Student Designs Undergraduate Research Textbook Cover
Computer science and art double major Ania Bui '18 designed the cover for a new textbook, Undergraduate Research and the Academic Librarian: Case Studies and Best Practices, co-edited by Scholarly Communications Librarian Stephanie Davis-Kahl.

Illinois Wesleyan University biology major Brock Taylor '18 of Mattoon, Illinois, has been named a 2017 Student Laureate by The Lincoln Academy of Illinois.
Teddy Delicath '13 Wins Mitchell Scholarship
Ted Delicath '13 was selected among 12 winners of a prestigious George J. Mitchell Scholarship on the basis of academic distinction, leadership, and service. The award supports post-graduate study at institutions of higher learning in Ireland.

  • B. Charles and Joyce Eichhorn Ames Professor of Physics Gabe Spalding gave an invited talk at Miami University on Nov. 15, on various kinds of time reversals demonstrated in his experiments.

  • Eric Gordon, communications assistant/dispatch for IWU Campus Safety, will play Mother Ginger in the Twin Cities Ballet production of The Nutcracker at Braden Auditorium on Illinois State University's campus. Jim Plath, R. Forrest Colwell Endowed Chair and Professor of English, who serves on the board of the non-profit dance company, will also appear onstage as a "party parent."
    This lavish costumed ballet is one of Bloomington-Normal's longest running holiday traditions.
    Public performances this year will be at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2 and Dec. 3. See details.
