- Assistant Professor of Sociology Courtney Irby published the article, "Bifurcated Conversations in Sociological Studies of Religion and Gender," in Gender & Society Vol 31, Issue 5, 2017.
- Emeritus R. Forrest Colwell Professor of American Literature Robert Bray will speak as part of the 2017 Lincoln Legacy Lecture Series on Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. in Brookens Auditorium at the University of Illinois Springfield. There will be a live webcast of the event.
