King at IWU Teach-In on Voting Rights and Social Justice
The annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Teach-In will examine voting rights, including a debate between College Republications and College Democrats on a voter ID law for Illinois.

Praise Dancers Gospel Fest to Honor King's Legacy
Illinois Wesleyan will host the 25th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday Gospel Festival on Monday, Jan. 19.

Joerg Tiede Edits Centennial Edition of AAUP Policy Book
The newly published 2015 edition of the American Association of University Professors' Policy Documents and Reports was edited by Wesleyan's Hans-Joerg Tiede.

Rice Research New Internship Opportunities in Asia
Through funding from the Freeman Foundation, Illinois Wesleyan is offering opportunities for students to intern in Asia this summer or during the 2015-16 academic year while studying abroad in Hong Kong.

 

Sports

The Illinois Wesleyan men's and women's swimming and diving teams each placed third at the University of Chicago Maroon Invitational, completed on Jan. 10 in Chicago.
