Internships for students at Illinois Wesleyan this spring climbed to 150, with employers increasingly using internships as a hiring pipeline for full-time positions.

, Beckman Auditorium, The Ames Library -- Sociology and Anthropology Colloquium -- William Wood, director of the Museum Studies Program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, will present "Tracking Accumulation by Dispossession Through the Lens of Santa Fe Style Textiles."

• 4 p.m., Davidson Room, Memorial Center -- Readings by Dai Fan -- Author Dai Fan, director of the Creative Writing Center and chair of the English Department at Sun Yatsen University in Guangzhou, China, will give a reading of selected short stories.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

• 4 p.m., CNS C101 -- Soil, Science and Sustainable Agriculture -- Bob Boehle, head of Boehle Consulting and tester of the soil at the IWU Peace Garden, will talk about sustainable agriculture.

• 6 p.m., Joyce Eichhorn Ames School of Art Building, Room 218 -- Anthony E. Stellaccio Visiting Artist and Lecture Series -- Nationally acclaimed ceramic artist Lisa Marie Barber will speak.

• 7 p.m., Hansen Student Center -- Navigating the Entrepreneur Maze -- The Action Research Center and the McLean County Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to host an entrepreneurship panel. Bloomington-Normal business owners will provide their stories and knowledge, followed by a question and answer session.

• 7:30 p.m., Shirk Center -- Women's basketball vs. Augustana.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

• 7 p.m., Hansen Student Center -- Removing Doubt in an Interview -- Business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi will host Eric Hoss, author of Removing Doubt in an Interview, who will share interviewing tips.

Thursday, Feb. 21

• 4 p.m., Davidson Room, Memorial Center -- International Studies Colloquium -- Patrick Ireland of the Illinois Institute of Technology will present "Crisis in the Eurozone: Social Policy, Welfare States, and Migrant Incorporation in the EU."

• 7 p.m., Beckman Auditorium, The Ames Library -- International Film Series -- "Nosferatu" (1922, Germany) will be presented by Visiting Assistant Professor of MCLL-German Adam Woodis.

• 8 p.m., Westbrook Auditorium, Presser Hall -- Student Composition Concert.

Friday, Feb. 22

• 4 p.m., CNS C101 – Faculty Colloquium -- Assistant Professor of Political Science Min-hyung Kim will present "Theorizing Southeast Asian Integration."

• 7 p.m., Shirk Center -- The Titans will host the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) men's basketball championship tournament. Watch live stream.

Saturday, Feb. 23

Admissions will host a Faculty Open House for prospective students and their families.

Monday, Feb. 25

• 12 p.m., Davidson Room, Memorial Center -- Faculty Non-Org -- Associate Professor of English Mike Theune will discuss his work in assembling Voltage Poetry, an online anthology and discussion forum. This talk will feature a good deal of great poetry.
