Memorial Center, dedicated in 1947, honors the memory of Illinois Wesleyan men and women who served in World War II. It houses the Young Main Lounge and the Main Desk information center, which can be reached at (309) 556-1000.

Dining services for students, faculty and staff are also available at Memorial Center. Bertholf Commons is the main student dining room, where Sodexo Campus Services offers a wide choice of "all-you-can-eat" menus to meet individual preferences. Bertholf Commons is named for the University's 14th president, Lloyd Bertholf, who served from 1958-1968. Other food services include the Coffee Shoppe featuring Starbucks products, Dugout snack bar and Freshens.

Student media operations and various conference rooms are also located in the Memorial Center, where many groups and organizations host speakers and catered meal events.

The Joslin Atrium, which was opened in 2010, is a 2,500 square-foot glass atrium addition to the Memorial Center that provides meeting, reception and banquet space with views overlooking the Robert S. Eckley Quadrangle.

Illinois Wesleyan trustee Roger Joslin and his wife, Stevie, made a $1 million gift that enabled the Joslin Atrium to become a reality.
