Entry Level - Open Study Areas
The Ames Library has a number of open study areas for those who prefer a little ambient noise. Read your favorite newspaper or magazine in a cozy browsing rooms, curl up with a selection from our popular current fiction and non-fiction or study in small groups.
Warm days often find students enjoying the Roof Garden lounging in rockers, adirondack chairs, or spread out on our picinic tables. The Senior Class of 2012 generously donated the funds for these tables.
On the east-side of the entry level, you'll find the current periodicals and newspapers. Our print journal collection is available for anyone to browse. We've also got comfortable seating and study tables for use. If you need a laptop, you can check one out from the Circulation Desk or bring your own.
