Physical Education Endorsement

Physical Education Endorsement (K-12):

  • 18 hours of physical education coursework
  • Passing score on the physical education ILTS content test

The Educational Studies Department strongly recommends that students who wish to be able to coach a sport or teach physical education classes in addition to those classes in their major area of study pursue a physical education minor when working towards the physical education endorsement. They should consult with the chair of the Physical Education Department, Coach Norm Eash, to plan their course of study.

Some suggested IWU courses that count for both the Physical Education minor and endorsement.
