January 16th - Freeman Asia Internship Program Info Session, 4pm - 6pm, Welcome Center Auditorium

Come to this info session and learn about the opportunities available for current sophomores or juniors of any major who are U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents. Funding support for internships in Hong Kong, the Philippines and other locations in Asia includes airfare, housing and living allowance!

Create a resume that employers will notice. Bring your water bottle and have lunch on us while you learn how to write a good resume and cover letter and what makes a resume stand out from the employer’s perspective.

An internship is around the corner.  Start getting prepared now!  Join us for a quick internship overview…learn what they are, where to look for them, how to apply to them, whether you can get credit for them…and more!

Interviews can make or break you.  Can you give behavioral examples of your strengths? Do you know what questions to ask? This presentation will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to make every interview a great interview.  


February 6th  - Psychology Career Panel - 7 pm, Welcome Center Auditorium

Come hear from a host of professionals in the field of Psychology.  IWU Alums will share how their Psychology degree opened doors into the world of human services, counseling, social work and more!


February 7th  - Data Science Career Panel - 7 pm, Welcome Center Auditorium

Come hear from a panel of current Data Science professionals about how their IWU degree in Math prepared them to enter the field of BIG DATA!

February 16th , 10:00am to 3:00pm – CareerFest, Moraine Valley Community College, Palos Hills, IL

CareerFest is a Job and Internship Fair hosted by Illinois Wesleyan in cooperation with other small colleges across Illinois. Our combined efforts give you the opportunity to network with many employers and school districts in one location. Register in advance at the Hart Career Center.  Cost is $10.  Visit for all the details.

March 2-3rd – Women’s Council

Women’s Council provides two days of activities for current IWU women students to network with and learn from IWU alumni; watch for coming agenda of events. All female students are invited sign up (in advance) for a practice interview with IWU alumna on Titan CareerLink at . Visit to pre-register for events throughout the weekend.

April 3rd  - Health Professions Panel, 7:00pm, Advance reservations required

Local health professionals will share insights about their professions and advice on how to make yourself a more competitive candidate.   Co-sponsored by Tri-Beta and Hart Career Center.


April 13th - FYFF - OCRAP (Optimizing your Career Resilience And Persistence), noon-1pm, WC Auditorium

Seniors, are you still job hunting?  Do you need to start job hunting?  Now is the time to Optimize your Career Resilience And Persistence skills.  Join this session we are calling the OCRAP club and learn the basics of the job search and how to get started.
